When your trailer rides unevenly, the suspension takes a beating. This kit uses 1-1/2" tall front and rear hangers and 2-1/2" tall center hangers so the equalizers and shackles line up correctly with the double-eye leaf springs. That difference in height keeps all three axles level, giving your suspension the right geometry for smooth movement over bumps and turns.
Heavy loads need hardware that can handle the weight. This triple-axle hanger kit is designed for use on trailers with 2,000-lb to 7,000-lb axles. The 7-3/4" long curved equalizers and 2-5/8" shackle straps make sure each spring shares the load evenly from front to back, reducing stress points and keeping the trailer tracking straight.
Nothing’s worse than hunting for missing bolts halfway through a job. This kit comes complete with (4) 1-1/2" tall hangers, (4) 2-1/2" tall hangers, (4) 7-3/4" long equalizers, (16) 2-5/8" long shackle straps, (24) 3" long x 9/16" diameter shackle bolts, and (24) 9/16" diameter locknuts. That’s everything needed to connect six double-eye leaf springs to your frame and have it ready for axle hardware.
Getting the spacing right keeps your tires and springs working together instead of fighting each other. With 2-3/8" axles, the setup gives you 29-1/2" between front and first-center hangers, 34" between centers, and 29-1/2" again to the rear. For 1-3/4" axles, the spacing tightens to 24-3/4", 29", and 24-3/4". That layout provides the right 3-1/2" to 4-1/2" clearance between the frame and axles so the suspension has room to flex without bottoming out.
Once the hangers are welded in place, the triple-axle setup keeps the trailer balanced, the ride steady, and the components working in sync. It’s a simple, complete way to rebuild or set up a triple-axle suspension so it holds alignment and runs smooth for the long haul.
